If the body of the Pallas Table Lamp was a canvas, it would be a true work of art because it has painterly brush strokes in white on blue flowing along its surface. Illustrating the handmade aspect of this particular fixture is the white glaze that bubbles where it is thickest over the luminous blue, giving the lamp greater texture. The intermingled smudges are layered onto the lamp to achieve added artfulness.
